Classical & Catholic

A half-day classical Catholic homeschool group meeting once weekly, integrating the Trivium, Quadrivium, and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd atria.

Community

Twenty families of dedicated, faith-filled parents and virtuous children forming a joyful, peaceful, and devout Catholic homeschooling community.

Rooted in Faith

Attending daily Mass is the highest priority for our community. We study science and the liberal arts as paths to knowing, loving, and serving God.

PreK through 8th Grade

Five classrooms and three CGS atria levels, with parent-led instruction guided by detailed classical Catholic curriculum plans.

Weekly Schedule

8:15–8:30	Morning Offering & Memory Work	Morning prayer, Baltimore Catechism, Scripture, math facts, grammar, poetry
8:30–9:15	Quadrivium	Science labs exploring faith and creation; math facts reinforcement through games and activities
9:15–9:30	Tea Time Together	Snack with liturgical seasons, art and artist study, classical music, and poetry
9:30–10:30	Catechesis of the Good Shepherd	Three atrium levels with trained catechists and handmade materials
10:30–11:30	Trivium	Phonics and reading (PreK–2), essay writing (3–5), debate and projects (6–8), Latin at all levels
11:45	Holy Mass	Attending daily Mass together

Terms named for the saints: St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus (Sept–Oct), St. Simeon (Nov–Jan), St. Joseph (Feb–March)

Curriculum

Catechism — Baltimore Catechism and Scripture, reinforcing sacramental preparation
Science — Schola Rosa weekly labs, integrating faith and the natural world
Mathematics — Essential math facts through internationally recognized curricula and hands-on activities
Language Arts — Phonics, spelling, copywork (PreK–2); Institute for Excellence in Writing (3–5); debate, playwriting, living museum projects (6–8)
Latin — Song School Latin for younger students, Ancient Language Institute for older, focused on understanding Scripture
Fine Arts — Art history, artist study, classical music, composer study, and poetry tied to liturgical seasons
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd — Three atrium levels (PreK–8) with trained catechists and Montessori materials
